Matt Parks is a dedicated trial attorney who has experience in business and commercial litigation, admiralty & maritime, energy, and personal injury.
Matt attended the University of Texas Law School where he worked at the Environmental Law Clinic and on the Texas Environmental Law Journal. Matt also worked as a law clerk for the Texas Railroad Commission and a summer associate for Enbridge Energy. These hands-on work experiences helped Matt hone the litigation skills that client have come to appreciate.
After graduation, Matt joined a Texas based litigation boutique where he focused his practice on the defense of one of the main parties involved in the oil rig “Deepwater Horizon” blowout from BP’s Macondo Well in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010.
Matt is licensed to practice in all state courts in the State of Texas, as well as the federal courts in the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas. Matt is a committeeman and lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
