Four Burford Perry attorneys have once again been selected as Texas Super Lawyers in a report published annually by Thomson Reuters. Name partners Robert Burford and Brent Perry, partner Matthew E. Parks, and of counsel Jay Jackson were all named to the prestigious annual list.

Mr. Burford, Mr. Perry, and Mr. Parks were all recognized for their work in business litigation. Mr. Jackson was honored for his personal injury work.

Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers selects attorneys for its list following a multi-step review process that includes peer nominations and independent research. The process is known for its rigor and impartiality.

Super Lawyers is just the latest recognition earned by the firm or its attorneys. Most recently, several attorneys were included in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in America; Mr. Parks was included in the Benchmark Litigation 40 & Under list; Mr. Burford and Mr. Parks were both ranked in the most recent edition of Chambers and Partners USA for their work in commercial litigation; A $157 million verdict won by a Burford Perry team was named one of Texas’ top 20 plaintiff's jury verdicts for 2023; and the firm was singled out by Chambers Regional Spotlight’s list of top regional law firms for their work in dispute resolution.

Earlier this year, Burford Perry associate Zachary Carlson was named to the 2024 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for his work in civil and business litigation. The Rising Stars list recognizes attorneys who have been in practice for less than 10 years or who are 40 years old or younger. Mr. Parks was recognized by Rising Stars before being recognized by Super Lawyers last year.
