Super Lawyers Selects Five Burford Perry Attorneys for 2023 Honors
Five Burford Perry’s attorneys have been named to the 2023 Texas Super Lawyers list of exceptional attorneys published annually by Thomson Reuters. The honorees are name partners Robert Burford and Brent Perry, partners Kevin Powers, and Matthew E. Parks, and of counsel Jay Jackson.
Mr. Burford, who has been on the list for 20 years, was recognized for his work in Business Litigation and Securities Litigation. Mr. Perry was honored for his expertise in Business Litigation and Civil Litigation. Mr. Powers was singled out for his work in Business Litigation, Construction Litigation and General Litigation. Mr. Parks was recognized for his work in Business Litigation and Civil Litigation. Mr. Jackson was honored for his expertise in Personal Injury and Business Litigation.
This is Mr. Parks’ first year of eligibility for Super Lawyers after six consecutive years on the Rising Stars list, which recognizes attorneys who have been in practice for less than 10 years or who are 40 years old or younger.
Super Lawyers’ patented selection process is known for its rigor and impartiality. After a combination of independent research and peer evaluation, no more than 5% of all attorneys in each state are selected for the honor.
