Chambers Selects Burford Perry for Dispute Resolution Regional Spotlight Recognition

In its inaugural ranking of the best small and mid-sized law firms with less than 50 partners, Chambers USA has selected Burford Perry to its Regional Spotlight for Texas for the firm’s work in Dispute Resolution in Houston.

The firms selected for regional honors do “remarkable work which results in an impressive regional reputation” and offer “a credible alternative to Big Law,” according to Chambers.

“The firms that Chambers selected all have great reputations for quality work and client advocacy. We’re proud to be recognized in such good company,” said name partner Robert Burford, who is ranked by Chambers for his work in General Commercial Litigation. “Our selection is reflective of our attorneys’ collective success which makes this recognition particularly gratifying.”

Established in 2015, Burford Perry offers a variety of business litigation services to its clients, including handling matters related to business and commercial disputes, oil and gas lawsuits, securities fraud, shareholder disputes, serious personal injuries, healthcare litigation , and trade secrets cases.

Recently, the firm achieved a more than $7 million victory on behalf of client WCW Houston Properties, LLC in a hotly contested property foreclosure lawsuit tied to a strip center on Westheimer Road in Houston. Burford Perry partner Kevin Powers successfully represented WCW.

Name partner Brent Perry also recently settled a long-running lawsuit against University of the Incarnate Word on behalf of the family of Cameron Redus, a UIW senior who was shot and killed by a UIW campus police officer in 2013.
